Faq

Do i have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and your current phone company — nothing about your phone service changes, and your calls ring exactly where they ring now.

There are two ways to set it up, and we'll tell you which one fits your business before you pay anything. If your business line is a landline or toll-free number, we can text-enable that exact number, so the reply comes from the same number they called. If you run your business off a cell phone, we set up a dedicated business texting line instead — your calls still come to your cell as normal, and the reply comes from that line.

Is this a robot talking to my customers?

Only the first message is automatic — a short, friendly note letting them know you'll get right back to them. After that it's a normal text conversation between you and the customer.

Do i need to learn a new app?

No. Replies come to your phone the way any text does. If you can text, you can use this.

what if i want the message worded differently?

Just tell us and we'll change it. That's part of the ongoing support — you're never stuck with wording that doesn't sound like you.

How long until its running?

Usually about a week. Most of that is waiting on the phone carriers — every business sending automated texts in the US has to be registered with them first, and that approval takes a few days. We handle the paperwork. Your part takes about 15 minutes.

what do you need from me to get started?

Your legal business name, business address, and EIN (or SSN if you're a sole proprietor) — that's what the phone carriers require for registration. Plus about 15 minutes to talk through how you want the message worded. That's the whole lift on your end.

what if it doesn't work out?

Cancel any time. No contract, no cancellation fee. If it isn't earning you more than it costs, you shouldn't be paying for it.
